High MPG Cars, They’re Worthless… I mean worthwhile… I guess.
See earlier posts on the impending China Coal problem to understand the context of the title. Notwithstanding that reality, it is a good idea to do everything you can within your limitations to limit your resource footprint. Not necessarily for the purposes of “carbon emissions” as most greenies might spout, but to save money and to adopt a basic conservation ethic. To that end, buying a Prius or a Honda Insight, or a Tesla, or any High MPG car for that matter, is an EXCELLENT idea. Once you buy the car, promote your achievement of efficiency with a subtle oval bumper sticker, such as this one. Don’t get on your high horse about it, just maintain quiet and reasoned confidence and spread the word to those who will listen… efficient use of energy is the path to independence and prosperity!
