2 Million Minutes - How Will America Transform its Education System?

Public eduction is in crisis mode in America.  The socialized system is a massive failure based on almost any metric one would use to measure it.  Its unlikely that any Federal action is going to change this in any way, and that a complete shift in American culture combined with a much needed change to State and Local accountability and responsibility is perhaps the only way to save the system.  Until that happens, reasonable people can and should expect the desire for school choice, vouchers, private schooling and home schooling to increase dramatically.  Perhaps this is a good thing.  Check out Two Million Minutes.COM, and take the third world challenge.  It is sad, but true that many publicly educated adults in the US will fail when tested against a third world high-schooler.
